Creating Future Appointment but shows on Current Days Calendar

When creating an appointment, and choosing a date other
than the current date, Outlook places the appointment on
the calendar date that the appointment was created; but
when you open the appointment it will show the actual date
of the appointment.

Any suggestions?

Try opening Outlook using the ".../CleanViews" switch. The
