Creating graphs from infopath

Lost in InfoPath

Hello,

I've been searching for how to do this but not sure if it is even possible,
being new to the tool. I want to be able to pull metrics from my forms once
they have been filled out and merged into one. I have a lot of selection
boxes so I want to be able to generate a graph for instance that shows me the
number of people who selected X vs. Y in a field. Is this possible in
InfoPath?

This is not possible in InfoPath directly. It is designed to collect the data
but does not have real reporting or charting type features.

I do this quite frequently using the Database Accelerator to put my form
data into a SQL table each time a form is submitted. Then you can use Excel
or Sql Reporting Services to have live dashboards and graphs, etc on your
data. http://www.qdabra.com

You have to have a backend repository for your data to do analysis also you
need one repository for all of your form data so you can aggregate across all
of them.
