Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

Email Client: Exchange
I connect to an Exchange server at work from home. Within my "home" set of folders that connect to this server, when I go to File> New, the word "Group" is the only one that appears in grey...in other words, I cannot create a group. I must go to the "on my computers" set of folders, create the group in there, and then drag that group into the contacts folder in my "home" set. Further, when I do send an email to that group, instead of listing the group name in the "To:" field, it shows all the individual names of the recipients...also a drag. I would hope it would only show the group name in that field, protecting the privacy of members of the group. I am using Entourage 2008 on a Mac Book (intel). Suggestions?
