Creating groups in entourage

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Email Client: pop

I want to create a group in entourage, but when I click on File<New< Groups, I get a pop-up screen that asks me to start typing the first few letters of the person's email address. Isn't there a way to show my entire Address Book, so that I can click and drag email addresses into the Group window? I need to be able to see my entire Address Book before I can determine who I want in my group. Please help!!!

Hi,

create a new group, switch to the contact list in the main Entourage window,
and you can drag your contacts from the list to the Group window.

This still doesn't work...unless I'm doing something wrong. I've created a group, but as soon as I click on Address Book, the window that is open with my group disappears. How do I click and drag, if the window doesn't stay open. When you say "switch to the contact list in the main Entourage window" do you mean click on my Address book? I'm still confused....

The window is not disappearing, it's probably just getting moved behind
your Address Book window. You may need to adjust your windows so that
you can see everything.

When you say "switch to the contact list in the main Entourage window"
do you mean click on my Address book? I'm still confused....

In the upper-left hand corner of the Entourage main window are icons
that let you switch between Entourage's various modes, including email,
Address Book, and Calendar. Your best bet for complex management of the
Address Book is the Address Book view.
