Creating hot links to emai and web addresses in spreadsheets

Hello,
I am trying to create a list of several names throughout the Country,
and create groups according to state. i want to include their email
addresses and web addresses, so that i can click on them from the
spreadsheet and open the browser to view website or send an email. Can
this be done in Excel or is it better to use Word? I would appreciate
help in creating this informational sheet.

Hi,

Excel and Word both support hyperlinks. Excel's Data menu would be the
thing to use to group the data to your liking.

Yes, you can click links from the spreadsheet, both mail and URL links.
The default application on the computer will then handle the hyperlinks.
