creating insertion (........) to fill in

Is there a way to automate character insertion (such
as .....) from left to right between two text entries, as
in a table of contents.
i.e.
Monday........Chicken
Tuesday.........Steak
Wednesday.........Ham

I need the left and right text entries to stay justified,
and the characters, (...) (***) or whatever to fill.

Set tabs... and use Leaders... the ... Leader... you can justify the
Chicken/Steak/Ham column either Left, Right or Center aligned... usint the
TAB option from the Format Menu. Just be sure to set the leader as well.
