Creating Layers

Hi All,

Can anyone please explain how I create layers of objects. I have read the
help, googled and newsgrouped but cannot for the life of me work out how to
create and view layers.

When you input any object
1. select object
2. click right mouse button
3.Select View | Layer Properties ...
4. when opens Layer properties there you can see NEW...
