Creating Legal Symbols Using Autocorrect in OneNote

I am trying to create legal symbols using autocorrect in OneNote. In the
"with" autocorrect dialog box, I am unable to insert a symbol (such a delta
for defendant, paragraph symbol, section symbol, etc.), so that I can replace
df with the delta, etc. How do I do this? Thanks. Steve

Use the Character Map (Start | Programs | Accessories...it's in there
someplace) and copy the symbol you want and paste it into the "Replace
With" field in AutoCorrect. (CTRL+C to copy and CTRL+V to paste if you need
those)

Thank you. This was very helpful. I saw a reference to the character map in
the OneNote help (How to insert a degree symbol) but I did not understand
how to use it to insert the symbols in the autocorrect dialog box. The
control c/control v did the trick. Regards, Steve
