Hi
I need to be able to create a logic Diagram ( similar to network diagram; but showing implied dependencies etc ) based on a project. The data used will be based on a MS project filter, but the user should be able to remove tasks from the diagram without effecting the underlying data ( i.e. the diagram is used for reporting data and NOT manipulating it ). The network digarm functionality in MS Project ( v2002 ) just seems to be generated for all the tasks ( and in one of our typical projects that could be 100's ) and is too complicated for our users
Now, my first idea was do generate the diagram using Visio ( though I don't really know how to - I have a similar question in their newsgroup community ); but I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas/help for me ? Has anyone done anything like this before, used any 3rd party diagrammatical software or even ( if possible ? ) generated the diagrams using MS Project VBA
I would be very grateful of any help on this topic ( even if it's just a link to somewhere that you thing may be of help to me )
Thanks in Advance
Chris.
