Creating more than one envelope

E

Eric

I am hoping someone can help me with this. I would like
to create multiple envelopes with Word 2000.

When going into the envelope properties I can change the
location of the delivery address and return address by
manually adjusting them from "auto" to the correct numbers
of inches I prefer within the properties window. I would
like these settings to remain, since I have numerous
envelopes I need to get out. I am using word 2000.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Either:
a. Once you have set up the envelope with the layout you want, remove any
"variable" text and save the layout as a .doc or .dot. Then to produce a new
envelope with the same layout, re-open the .doc (or open a new .doc based on
the .dot), type in the variable text and print Or...
b. consider using mailmerge to create batches of envelopes. Again, once you
have created the layout you need, save it. You don't have to go through the
entire process of setting up a new layout every time.

Or have I missed the point?
