creating new account

Please pardon this elementary question. I've just gotten DSL and
want to eventually drop my former ISP. I work with Entourage 2004 for
the Mac on a dual-processor G4 running OS 10.4.5.
I've created a new Identity with my new e-mail address. Can I import
all of my numerous e-mail boxes, and, crucially, Rules and Mailing
Lists with Entourage? If not, is there any efficient way to avoid
recreating all of the latter? I'm in the middle of editing two books
and can't afford to lose e-mail.
I looked through at least one manual for MS Office for the Mac but
didn't find the answer to this question.

No need to create a new identity, just create a new email account in the old
identity (Tools menu; 'Accounts'). When the old account expires, just delete
the account - all the existing mail will be retained.

This way, all your folder structure, rules and MLM entries will be
retained.

As I wrote you privately earlier, Mark, it does NOT import Entourage Rules.
It will export and import Mailing List Manager entries (including the
Actions/Rules) from one Entourage 2004 identity to another. (There were bugs
in Entourage X's AppleScripting of MLM so a few of the actions don't
transfer correctly in Entourage X, but these were fixed in 2004.)
