Creating New Folders

Hi. I'm trying to save a document under a sub-folder. I have documents saved under "Documents" ---> "Adelphi" but I want to make a subfolder under "Adelphi" (specifically for each class I'm taking). I can't figure out how to create an Adelphi subfolder. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks you.

Hi Brenda -

It should be rather straightforward: In the Open or Save As dialogs there's
a button in the lower left corner for New Folder. Select the parent folder
you want to create the new one in & click the button. If the button isn't
showing click the square button with the triangle to the right of the file
name to expand the dialog window.

In a Finder window just go to File> New Folder after selecting the parent
folder or key Shift+Command+N.
