Creating new powerpoints on Home and Student

It seems as though it is not possible to create new presentations - or edit
old ones - on Home and Student, even though Microsoft claim on their sales
page that you can.

Sure you can. The programs within Home and Student is equivalent to any
other of the Office packages and have exactly the same features.

Have you activated the product? Did you purchase the product or are you
attempting to use the trial product? If trial it may have expired.

I have no idea what MC-powerpoint is and apparently you don't either.
