Creating new project from Enterprise Template?

S

scubaal

Using Project server 2003 + Proj2k3Prof.
We have created enterprise global that contains all the settings we
want.

We have a lot of projects that follow essentially the same skeleton
and want to create a template. I created a new project and setup all
the tasks. Hit 'Save As'......and when the Enterprise prompt comes up
saved the project as type 'Template'.

Question: How do I use this 'template' as the basis for a new project?
When I hit 'New' in Proj2k3prof I am offered the choices of:

Blank Project
From existing Project
Templates on my Computer

but *not* the ability to select a template from the Project server.
Note: I *know* the template is there cos if I select 'template name'
from the last used files under the 'file menu' I get the enterprise
template loaded as the basis for my new project - but this doesnt work
for any other tenterprise users.....as they have never used it
before...so it isnt on their 'last used' menu............

How does one use an enterprise saved template as the basis for a new
project?
Thanks
Al.

From memory, select Templates from my computer. A new Windows form is
displayed, select the Enterprise Template tab, and you should see your
template there.
