I am new to Visio and am trying to create a new shape, based on other primary
shapes overlayed on top of one another. First I attempted to use Shape Studio
and SQL Server 2005 Desktop, but when I tried to create a New Base Object, I
got an error from the Shape Studio saying it could not create a new base
object.
Second, if I could get the new shape created, I want to be able to connect
to a database and populate information on the new shape. This I have been
able to do with a really simple shape, but mine is a little more complex. The
second question is, I have an area on my new shape that I want to change the
fill color dynamically. Is this easily possible. Any help would be
appreciated.
Thanks
