Creating pick lists or pull down menus

I am currently using Excel 2000 to creat some sales tools
for my company. I am interested in understanding how to
create a pick list or pull down menu that would contain
all of the allowed values for a given cell. Then by
picking that value fills the cell.

Is this too advanced a feature for Excel?
