I have a Project Server '07 instance running with a handful custom
fields/lookup tables. Resources are minimally used (i.e. only 5
generics) and I'm trying to create a project from template as part of
a batch operation using the PSI. In Project Pro '07 I create a new
project template that is absolutely blank (File --> New --> Save As..
Template. That's it.). I can create new project instances in Project
Pro, but if I try to CreateFromTemplate() the PSI throws me the lovely
error of "ProjectResourceNotFound". Confused, I take a look at the
project template's dataset and see that it has a row in the
ProjectResourceCustomFields table referencing a resource UID that is
not in the ProjectResource table. Wondering who/what this resource is
(and more specifically... why it wasn't in my ProjectResource table),
I looked at all the resources on Project Server for the RES_UID that
was in the ProjectResourceCustomFields table and found it wasn't in
there. Has anyone ran across this?
