Creating repeating sections w/o repeating data

I am using Infopath 2003 to create a form for doctors to keep track of
their patients in the hospital (pt. location, meds, etc.). In designing
the form, I used the repeating sections option to allow the same set of
data to be entered for multiple patients. The problem is that data
entered in one field gets copied the corresponding field in all of the
repeated sections.

How do I create a repeating section that will allow for different data
to be entered in corresponding fields of each repeating section? In
other words, how do I "de-link" the data from each repeating section?

The repeating section is probably bound to a group within your main
datasource. When you look at the properties for that group, is the
repeating checkbox checked?
