Creating report to collect data from a query to save in table and display a chart

Ok will start by saying been using access for about 3 week now. Need
a bit of help. I been tasked with creating a chart that display 4
weeks worth of data for various items.

what I have is a query that check for data mismatch between 2 data
sources on 3 types of data. I need to show a chart to track this
mismatch over a 4 week period.

What is the best way to do this?
If I want one person to run a program once a week and that value of
data to be stored along with the date. Would like to maintain history
of data but only display the last four weeks.

BTW running Access 97 presently.
