I have a project that has become too large (710 tasks) to update on a weekly
basis. I would like to split it into subprojects so that they can be
independently updated and inserted back into the main project to get a
consolidated view. However, when I follow MS Projects' insctructions on
creating subprojects, I am losing the EV metrics (Baseline and Actuals) and
the variances are changing. Has anyone dealt with a similar problem? Please
let me know if you have any ideas on how I can split the project into
subprojects for tracking and not lose the EV data.
