Creating subtasks programatically

I would like to create a task, then another task as the sub task of the
first programatically. I'm trying to use the COM APIs into MSProject but
don't see anything that can be used to do what I want. Anyone have any
advice? Also is it possible to add new views to MS Project through a COM
addin?

Record a macro of you manually doing what you want. This will get you
started with the correct methods etc.
