Creating Title Masters

How does one create a Title Master. Whenever I go to create a new
presentation that I will save as a design template (POT), the "View > Master

Title Master" is greyed out. What do I need to do to make this available?

I found this on one of the other Mac PowerPoint newsgroups -
"microsoft.public.powerpoint.mac". Why are there so many different MS
newsgroups for PowerPoint Mac? (not including those for other languages)

You need to go to the slide master first. Then go to "Insert" menu tab. The
first item will be "New Title Master". That'll then give you a title master
that you can edit.

Choose View, Master, Slide Master.
While in Slide Master view, choose Insert, Title Master.

Voila.

Excluding those in other languages, there are only the two that I know of.
If you look through the other one, you'll see posts asking people to post here
instead. Rather than just close it down (and cut people off from the the
message base there) MS chose to leave it open, but it's not very active.
