Creating "to do" lists for resources in a project

I'm working with a large, 1700+ line item project utilizing 80
resources for a project spanning the next two years. I'm trying to
determine if there's a mechanism to generate a "to do" list for
resources for a given week during the project duration.

What I want to be able to do is, at the beginning of each week, hand
each active team-member a list of their expected tasks for the week or
next two weeks, so they have an understanding of what's expected of
them.

I'm assuming there's a way to create a view or macro in MS Project to
do this, but I have no idea how. Can anyone offer a solution or a
suggestion as to which direction I can go to explore?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

There are several built-in reports you may find useful
under View -> Reports -> Assignments. You can try using
one of those as-is or copy then modify the report to suit
your needs.

If you go to View, then Reports, you can select Current Activities. From
here, you can choose the "Tasks Starting Soon" report. You will then be
able to select the date range.

I want to do this on a resource by resource basis. So I want to select
a date range AND a resource name.

Are you talking about the reports? If so, copy the report definition to a
new report and to the copy add a filter that isolates the dates and
resources of interest.
