Creation of new project in project server

Hi all,

I noticed that when I tried to create a new project it requires Professional
installed or connected at least. But I can create a proposal and publish it
to the server. Why is the server designed this way? And I noticed that later
when I use Professional to open the projects in the server I can not see the
one published from proposal. Is this right? Thanks.

You must have Project Professional 2007 to create and manage an enterprise
project. The system only requires the PWA interface to create and manage a
Proposal or an Activity plan. You do not use Project Professional 2007 to
manage a Proposal or an Activity plan. You only need it to manage
enterprise projects. I do not know why the software is designed this way,
but you need to work with it as it is designed. Hope this helps.
