critical update KB828041

Hi I just got a new computer and went to load MS Office
Pro on it. After the installation it checked for updates
and told me to download the one referred to above.
However, every time I tried to download it I got a
message saying installation was unsuccessful. It never
gave me an error message or reason why.

There are no earlier versions of MS office on this
computer and I was not even sure if I needed this update,
but the website told me I did.

Any ideas what the problem could be?
