CRM Integration Sample for Outlook Add-In problem

H

hazz

I uninstalled the Visual Studio application due to a solution file issue
with the app.config (after geting the SQLExpress connection string to work
finally) and re-installed using the .msi as provided in Microsoft download.
When I rebuilt and ran the new solution, it asked me if I wanted to disable
the add-in. Sure why not? So the add-in was uninstalled.

How do I re-install the add-in? I click on the check box in COM Add-Ins and
click on OK in the Advanced Options dialog box within Outlook. But it
doesn't do anything.
Since that didn't do anything, I then clicked on Add and it seeme the
Microsoft.Sample.Outlook.CRMIntegration.dll was the right component to
add..but when I do so an error message pops up saying it is not a "valid
Office Add-in"

Help anyone?

Thank you.

Try Help, About Microsoft Office Outlook, Disabled Items button. If listed
there highlight it and click Enable. Exit and restart Outlook, that registry
setting is only read on startup.
