CRM Plug-in works in Outlook 2003 but not in Outlook 2007

My company is running AccPac CRM. the interface is web-based, and there is an
integration to Outlook. Under Outlook 2003 (Microsoft Office Outlook 2003
(11.8118.8132) SP2, Office Pro 2003), the plug-in works fine. When I have an
email selected, I hit "File Email" on the plug-in tool bar.
The interface
1. selects the CRM object in the browser,
2. activates the "new" folder under that,
3. then the message pane changes to a page that looks identical (style-wise)
to the web interface to the CRM.
4. The email of the sender is looked up and the contact from our address
book with the matching email is displayed,
5. I can add a note then file the email.

Under Outlook 2007 (Microsoft Outlook Outlook 2007 (12.0.6023.5000) MSO
(12.0.6017.5000) Part of Microsoft Office Pro 2007), steps one and 2 above
happen, but the "New" folder message display stays looking like a folder list
(From / Subject / Received etc headers).

It is as if this version is preventing my Outlook from loading a web form,
and something is blocking it. I have put the CRM server into my trusted sites
list (in Explorer V7), in the Outlook Trust Center, I have enabled "Permit
downloads from web sites in this security zone: Trusted Zone".

Under the Trust Center -> Add-ins, the "ACCPAC CRM Addin for Outlook" plugin
is active, it shows "Publisher" as blank.

Basically... Help! The supplier's official statement is that it does not
support Vista Office / 2007.

If the Company that makes the product says that it doesn't work on Outlook
2007, why do you think anyone around here would be able to get it to work?
Basically, use it with the software the provider says the software will work
with.

Sure, roll back my PC from Vista to 2003... sounds like fun. Can't wait.

....

I was hoping someone would have and idea what part of the security model in
2007 (that has changed since 2003) may be blocking this functionallity.

It could be anything, even beyond the security model, such as the object
model. If it really is Vista and not Outlook (iow, try finding someone to
run it on 2k7 on XP), then the problem is deeper than Outlook. Or, it could
be multiplied with differences in both the OS and the application.

But, if the solution was simple, wouldn't the software publisher actually
say 'Getting our software to work in Outlook 2007 is simple, here's the
steps you take...'

Speaking of that, does Sage have any information about when an update might
be available? It's been seven months since Office 2k7 rtm'd... They have to
know that their user base is going to start to dwindle...
