crop marks

I'm laying out an A-5 document, but will be printing it
out on A-4 sheets for the printshop (they still work off
hard copies!). I've put in crop marks to show them where
to cut. I did these in the header, got them to line up and
saved them in a template. Now I find that the crop marks
in the document don't line up. I guess I've done something
stupid, but is a quick way to fix this? They line up
perfectly in the template. If I re-import the text into
the template, I'll have to redo most of the layout.

Impossible to say without knowing how you created these "crop
marks". And what kinds of changes did you make to the
document page setup that importing the text into the template
(or a new document generated from it) would "break" the
layout? Chances are, whatever this was probably affected the
"crop marks"...
