Crop pages problem

Hi,

Word 98 on Mac 9.1

For example, if I've got a 100 page text wich I crop to send the only
40 pages, the file will be complete but with only the 40 visible pages.

Now, if I put this damn fil into can opener for example, I can see that
in this damn 40 pages document, the pages going from 41 till 100 are
still there, but not visible !

This software should have a "normalize" function, wich allows to save a
file WITHOUT all the editings, like in audio, for example.

Does anyone know to take away this part ?

Copy and paste is not an option, it doesn't copy the specific page
arragements, tables etc..

TIA !

It sounds like you're using Track Changes in the doc - Is that what you mean
by "the editings"? If my assumption is correct, save a separate copy of the
file if you want to retain changes in the original, then - in the copy:

Turn Track Changes OFF,
Accept or Reject ALL changes,
Delete pages 41-100,
Save & send that copy of the file.

Once Track Changes is activated in a doc the edits are retained until
completely resolved - even the deletion of the last 60 pages, which is why
they were still showing up as blank.

My apologies if this isn't as specific as it could be, but I'm afraid I
haven't seen Word 98 in quite some time & have seen about 7 other versions
(PC & Mac) since %-}
