I take a PDF file and crop it. And save it. Every time it opens in Acrobat or Preview, it shows only the cropped region.
I attach it to an e-mail in Entourage. Once it is sent, I look at the message in the Sent box. Or I send the message to myself and look at it there. In both cases, the PDF is previewed at the bottom of the message pane.
BUT it does not show the cropped portion of the PDF. It shows the whole page.
If I then open the attachment, I see just the cropped region.
Anyone know why this is happening? I am worried because sometimes I want to sent a PDF for an outside source but I don't want them to see the whole page (I know the obvious workarounds, but I am trying to just understand the "glitch" here).
