Hi,
I'm trying to use a Data Connection to receive data from a SharePoint List
in a new InfoPath 2007 Form.
The SharePoint Server is on the same machine where I'm designing my InfoPath
form and I'm the owner of this whole SharePoint server, sites and lists.
The data connection is in order to populate data for a combo box.
At design time, while form template is on my local disk, when I click the
Preview button I get an error message that the data was not populated and in
the details I see that:
"The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: Responser
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
Access is denied."
In the form options when I set the domain for the preview then its OK - the
list is queried and I can preview the form. Off course, after I publish the
form the SharePoint then everything is OK.
The security and trust option for the form is set to “Automatically…†and I
have also tried with Domain level security.
In the Internet security options I have made sure that the cross-domain data
access is enabled. In addition, the SharePoint is configured as a local
intranet with set with security level to medium-low.
It seems to me that is a cross-domain security issue.
With InfoPath 2003 and SharePoint 2003, I had no issues with such
data-connections while the above security configuration has been set (allow
cross-domain... etc).
Any advice?
Thanks,
YL.
