Hello
We are in a university environment with both PC and Mac users, though
the Mac is the primary platform. The trouble comes with collaboration
of manuscripts in Word (98 and X for Mac, 97 and XP for Win) - inserted
graphics from plotting packages (usually WMF, EPS or PCT) placed on
one platform are inevitably messed up when viewing on the other
platform.
Where is the so-called compatibility?
Does Microsoft know about these bugs?
Is there a way to fix the graphic compatibility in Word? Is there a
practical workaround?
This is a waste of our valuable publishing time. If there isn't a practical
solution, we will have to find alternative suites.
