I'm inserting cross-references to figure and table captions into specific
locations in a document's body text. The body text font is Garamond. However,
the inserted cross-references appear as Times (which is defined as Normal
font). I don't want to modify the definition of Normal (too many ripple
effects), but the cross-references stick out nastily in the text. How do I
get cross-references to adopt the font of the content into which they are
being pasted, or alternatively change the default font for cross-references
for this document?
