Hi:
Microsoft Windows 98 4.10.2222 A
511MB RAM
Pentium 4
The reports we create have many sections (e.g. cover page, letter of
transmittal, table of contents, chapter 1, chapter 2, etc.). We use the
heading styles 1 to 4 for the section headings (e.g.. 1.1 to 1.1.1.1). They
number the headings the way we need and also put the chapter numbers in the
footer along with the page number (e.g. 4-1, 4-2). So when we generate a
Table of Contents the section headings and page numbers are put in (e.g.
3.2 SITE SURVEY [page #] 3-2).
In the text figures/tables are referred to as ".....quantities are presented
in Table 4.1." My problem is how and what do I use to create a list of the
figures/tables (e.g.
4.4 Results of Analyses for ICAP Metal Scan in Soil [page #] 4-9).
Do I use List of Figures of Cross Reference?
Thank you in advance for your time, patience and help. It is very much
appreciated.
