Hi all, my document has outlnie nubering in Heading 1 and Heading 2. I have a
number of bookmarks in my document that reference text in the paragraphs of
normal text beneath those styles. And at the bottom of my document I have a
table that uses REF and PAGEREF fields to cross reference the text and page
numbers of those bookmarks.
Is it posible to add a field to my table that will reference the number of
the heading above the bookmark? So that if my bookmark is text that's two or
three par's below the heading "1:3 Managing regulatory...", I can cross
reference the "1:3"?
I did manage to partially work around this by inserting an invisible text
STYLEREF inside my bookmarks, but that's not very satisfactory as I use two
levels of outline numbering and STYLEREF can only call one level at a time.
I'd be happy to look at other solutions such as labelling or indexing too.
Basically I just need a table that can reproduce the text, page number and
preceding heading number, either level 1 or 2, of defined blocks of text at
the end of my document.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
