cross-reference to tables

Why do my tables not show up in the cross-reference
dialog window? Figures do. Headings do. Just not tables.
I can add a link to a bookmark but what happens with the
table number get automatically updated? The table numbers
will not match. I need to add a cross-reference link to
the table. Thanks.

Hi Tommy,

You can solve the problem by using an appropriate heading style for the
Table's heading row.

Forgot to add, you can also cross-reference to the table by adding an
appropriate caption to it, as indicated in the Insert|Cross-reference
dialogue box.
