Cross References/Bookmarks

I am creating a template that inolves bookmarks and cross-reference points.
My question is, If I create a bookmark with a cross-reference point, will the
same text appear in all fields if typed into the first feild with the
bookmark?

If the recipient or duplicating field is updated, yes.

One of my favorite techniques for having instant updating is using a
macrobutton field, a special character style, and the StyleRef field. It is
a bit of a kludge, but it works very well.
