Never saw this one before. I have a large doc with many cross
references. Now building an index. I typically highlight the whole
doc and hit F9 to update everything at once. With index field codes
in there, noticed that the updated cross-references by header text are
now picking up the index field code as well as header text. Which
leads of course to the index ipicking up every one of those references
as additional page locations for the affected index entries.
Other than not updating the main document, is there any well to tell
word not to pick up field codes in cross referencing?
Thank you!
