Cross References - Initial Caps

Hello -
I'm using Word 2000. I have a long stylized document containing
outline numbering that has been cross referenced. Is there a way to
insert a switch to change the case of the field code reference that
will update each time the fields are updated in the document or does
this have to be done if needed.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'll need to add this to EACH field code
manually or by macro correct? Is there a default that can be changed
somewhere if I knew I wanted First Initial Caps and the Heading was in
ALL CAPS?

Yes, it must be done for each field code. Using a macro or
Edit>Replace would help, of course.
