Cross tab report

I have the report as follows:


Year(frouping by year)

No. Church Position Name
---- ------------------ -------------------
1 church elder 1. Mr. A
2. Deacon 2. Mr. C
3. Mr. D

Since we want to now the historical experiecen, I want to make it using
Crosstab
but it does not work, below is the layout I want.


No. Church Position 2007 2008
---- ------------------ ---------------- ---------
1 church elder 1. Mr. A 1. Mr. B

2. Deacon 1,Mr. C Mr. D
2. Mr. D Mr. D
3. Mr. E Mr. E

Can anyone help me on this?, should we use crosstab query, or any other

By the look of what you say you want the report to look like the problem is
not your query.
You should try grouping the report by position.

No Olduke, what I want is the grouping by year than by position, but how can
we make the year goes side way (columwise) actually I will hvae the reocrd of
10 years starting from 1998

You can create a date interval query by following the solution found at
http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=5466. You will need to substitute years
for months.

Then, to concatenate the multiple names together, use the generic
concatenate function found at
