Crosstab Queries

I'm trying to produce a crosstab query for a bunch of questionnaires that
origionated in excel format. I get the tables into access okay by linking
tables, bt when I then try to run a crosstabe query, it seems to truncate the
column headings..I know that I have some really long column headings, e.g.
"If you saw any error messages or unexpected behaviour during the
un-installation of the old product, can you please detail them here."

Are there limits on the lengths of these headers?

There is always a limit of some kind.

I think it is 64 characters in Access 97. Try looking up specifications in the help.

Object names - 64 characters
Field Names - 64 characters

But I was unable to find Query Column Name lengths
