crosstab query and report

I have a crosstab query that is pulling information from 3 tables and one
other query. here is what i'm pulling: I have a project name, project type,
activity, months (jan - dec) pulling the sum of total hours for the project
name.

My report comes up fine running off this query but what i want to do is
create a subreport that takes out the project name, activity and summarizes
by project type all the hours for the months. How do I create this subreport
because everytime I try to add the subreport it keeps asking me to input the
year several times over instead of just once like it does on the orignal
report.

Apparently you are using a parameter prompt in your query. IMHO, this is
never a good practice http://www.tek-tips.com/faqs.cfm?fid=6763. Consider
using controls on forms for all user interaction.
