Crosstab query

How do you specify what year to use in a crosstab query for qtr?
I am trying to use a crosstab to sum all entries for each vehicle for a qtr.
report. I have used the "year field" and asked for criteria in a simple
query with no problems, but I can not do this is a crosstab. Any ideals?

look to the Northwind example database. there is a
crosstab query there that probably is close to what you
are lookin for. it is called Quarterly Orders by Product
query.

I did go there before and they have a fixed year(between1/97 and 12/97), I
would like to make a query based on a user defined year, that way when
someone wants to view a previous years qtr, they can
thanks
