crossword puzzle

Trying to make a crossword puzzle as an activity for my children and their
friends. Anyone know an easier way than to draw out all the boxes and try to
fit the words? I thought there was a program that you just enter the
words/answers and it arranges them in a custom crossword puzzle. Where/what
is it?

I use this program for newsletters, it is Word compatible. It is shareware. I've used
it for years.There is a free trial download.

True. I have it and never use it. I have a subscription (£3pcm) to a site
run by the same guy which offers much more functionality (and will work on
all platforms - so, when I get my Mac (10 days and counting...) I can still
do my crosswords).
