crystal reports with bcm2?

E

Ed Marmon

compared to the struggling act!, ms bcm2 has minimal reports and minimal
ability to edit and taylor them. i'm thinking for example of reports on how
time is spent on phone calls and contacts/accounts, to total and report on
where your day goes, and maybe billing hours.

can crystal reports be used to access/report on the data in bcm? which
version? just 9? 10? will 11 work?

thanks

All the BCM data is stored in SQL Server.

You can use Crystal, Excel, Access, or any other ODBC aware report
generator to create reports from BCM data. Use the views rather than
the tables directly.

But there is no backend SQL Server, it's just the msde on each end user's
machine is that correct? Our management wont approve this solution if we
can't query a single database for our pipeline reports.
