How do I save an excel as a csv while specifying something other than comma
as a delimeter?

You can have a VBA solution to save with the delimiter you like. Another way
is to save as tab delimited (.txt) or .csv and then open the file in notepad
or a text editor and replace tab/comma with the delimiter of your wish.

You could change your list separator to the character that you want in windows
control panel (regional settings applet).

Remember to change it back. You may not like what happens to other stuff--like
formulas in excel.
