ctl+f not working in Microsoft Word

Hi All: For some strange reason the standard Ctl+f (Find) shortcut has
stopped working in Microsoft Word (still works in Excel). Has anyone else run
into this problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks, TB

I can't begin to guess which of many possible causes is the culprit,
but start by checking that the shortcut is still assigned to the
EditFind command. The article at

will tell you how to check it, and how to assign it again if it's been
unassigned or reassigned.

Thanks for the response Jay ) Somehow (perhaps due to an update of
somekind?!?!) the shortcut command had been deleted. Problem solved!
