Ctrl-alt-delete to close access

I have a database on a network drive that once opened will
not close(on 2 out 3 machines that run the program). you
have to ctrl-alt-delete and end task in order to close
it. I have opened up several other databases on each
machine and they all close fine this is the only database
that has the problem. I have gone into add/remove
programs and done a detect and repair on access but the
problem still prevails. Does anyone have any idea how to
solve this problem? Unfortunately my company has seen fit
to eliminated the action of actually removing the program
so I can't un-install and re-install the program unless I
re-image the entire machine. I am trying to avoid this!
