Hi,

On Word 2007 SP1, I'm having some weird issues with ctrl+bkspc:

Original:
some text here<caret here>
Press ctrl+bkspc
some text<caret here>

basically, it's erase the space preceding the word to be deleted along
with the word itself.

All other programs result in this:
some text <caret here>

Any idea what's up with Word?

Thanks!

It isn't a weird issue as far as Word is concerned -- it has always worked that
way.

Try starting with the caret to the right of the space following a word. When you
press Ctrl+backspace, the caret will arrive at the right of the space following
the preceding word:

Original:
some text here <caret here>next word
Press ctrl+bkspc
some text <caret here>next word

There is no setting to change this behavior in Word.
