Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V not working in Excel 2007

Hi,

I have Office 2007 Home installed, and I've discovered that Ctrl+C and
Ctrl+V shortcuts are not working. There are no macros at all that could
change the hotkeys, it's the first and only Office instalation on this
machine (brand new notebook). The weird thing is that once in a while, when I
start Excel, shortcuts are working fine - but that's about 10% of cases
(sometimes I have to open Excel 10 times to get this thing to work - that's
realy dreadful).
OS (XP Home) has all the updates, and so does Office.

Any help appreciated.
